Koufari in greek is a word to express the dead shell of an animal, or organism, or whatever lives in a shell..its the fossil.

This is a new serie of marble sculptures i am working on these days, and this is the last one.

Marble pieces i found almost abandoned in Tinos island, near the sea or while hiking in the mountain. i was really amazed by their shapes and instantly felt that i want to work on them and narrate, by their structure and texture, their story.
